Katie & Dominique Engaged!

Of all the fun engagement sessions I've done, I can honestly say this one was the funnest.  AND the most fun.  Both of those things.

Katie and Dom met at the Pima County Fair on a blind date.  Since the fair is not going on right now, we wanted to do something that would simulate that kind of fun atmosphere. We commandeered the arcade at Golf & Stuff here in Tucson and I had So. Much. Fun. shooting these guys playing shoot 'em up games, air hockey, ski ball, and all kinds of other stuff.

 These guys were hilarious on the motorcycle game.

 

 I needed some wind action.  No fans around, so Dom helped out.  Thanks Dom.

Yes, I know these next two are cheesy and they've been done a gazillion times.  I don't care.

Stacy & Mike

Stacy arrived at her wedding bleeding from her arm.  I hope she doesn't mind me blogging this story, but I thought it showed what an awesome bride she was.  At some point between the salon and the venue, she tripped over a rock and fell, scraping up her elbow.  I went to photograph the girls as they arrived in their limo, but Stacy's bridesmaids quickly rushed her into the building like a bunch of triage nurses.  I half-expected her to emerge from the restroom stressed out and upset.  Instead I was surprised to see her smiling and relaxed.  She totally shrugged it off and proceeded to grab a drink, sit in a chair and just chill as her bridesmaids buzzed around the room getting ready.  Most brides would laugh at this situation only after a few weeks or months.  Stacy was laughing it off immediately.  Awesome.
